Mr. Lee’s expertise is in retail, banking, manufacturing, industrial real estate, healthcare, environmental, software and insurance management. With more than thirty years of working with Global 500 companies, he has delivered large scale corporate productivity and technology solutions aimed at improving corporate performance.

Mr. Lee orchestrated joint ventures with Seagram’s American President Lines, Mitsui OSK, Sybase, Sony, Lucky Stores, Environmental Group and PepsiCo. As a mergers and acquisition (M&A) principal, he restructured Winchell’s Donuts, Pizza Hut, Borland Software, and Shea Homes. He is advisor to Seneca Capital, and Ascend Capital.

Mr. Lee was Chairman and CEO of Jex Technologies, a provider of automated performance management technology, which was sold to a Japanese GIS/mapping company. He owned and operated Liquor Barn, a west-coast discount liquor chain, which was sold to Safeway.

Mr. Lee was part of the strategic team that acquired Canadian Turbo and later sold it to Shell in Canada. He worked with the Board of Mitsubishi during their restructuring in the late 1990’s. Most recently, as a joint venture partner of PacifiCap he completed the acquisition of Island Air from Oracle’s CEO Larry Ellison in March 2016.

After Dr. Zhou’s 10 years experience in academia she applied her experience as an entrepreneur in the environmental sustainability industry. In three short years the rapidly growing startup became one of the fastest growing companies in China. Dr. Zhou received the Distinguished Entrepreneurial Achievement Award by Beijing Government Office.

In the past 6 years, Dr. Zhou has been connecting innovative science and emerging technologies to cross-border corporations especially in clean tech and advanced materials. She has provided consulting services to multiple clients in waste water treatment, industrial air pollution control and environmental remediation.

Dr. Zhou holds a Bachelor of Science from Nankai University and a Doctoral Degree in Chemistry from University of Maryland Baltimore County.

Clair ZhaoSenior Associate
Ms Zhao specializes in early-stage business strategy, branding, and international business development. Her expertise spans industries including industrial equipment & components, green technology, consumer & luxury goods, cosmetics, and non-profits.

Previously, Ms. Zhao served with Transworld Capital Group, a boutique investment banking and consulting firm providing cross-border advisory services to a diverse array of clients in the United States and greater China. She has also served with The US-China Clean Tech Center, a public-private partnership between the Innovation Center of Energy and Transportation and the US Department of Commerce, dedicated to providing US clean technology firms a cost-effective and strategic launching pad to China’s leading markets for clean-tech.

Ms. Claire Zhao holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Sciences from the University of Oxford and a Master’s in New Technology and Change Management from the school of Communication Cultural and Technology at University of Georgetown.
